I grew up playing guitar, drums, and bass in fugazi-esque 90's bands before discovering electronic music and the syncopated weirdness of jazz. I began producing music from an early age, grew a fanatical obsession to vintage drum machines, and later, made music with my good friend Damon under the name 'aBillion'. We made fuzzy melodic reverb-drenched sounds drawing on house, disco, beats and jazz progressions. We quickly found ourselves playing clubs and major music festivals across the country before eventually signing to a small label from California who released our first 12" record.

 

This remains a beautiful and tactile representation of a great time in my life. My love for music is still very much alive, although with slightly less time to spend on it. I love dj'ing and play regularly at venues around Sydney. Hearing / playing music through a great soundsystem remains one of life's true joys. Music has been a constant source of inspiration and has helped me through the winding journey of business, relationships, kids, and life in general.
