Flow is an instant payments platform solving the widespread late payments problems within the creative and freelance economy. After regularly working with over 50 freelancers and creatives during my time at Cake Wines, I encountered a huge amount of invoice payments friction in how people were paying and getting payed. Flow solves this problem, paying creatives the second they finish a gig / project, concurrently allowing businesses to pay back at a time that is more suitable for their cashflow. In a couple of clicks bookings are made, payments locked, and invoices automatically created. I was also selected in the revered Startmate accelerator program and secured VC and angel funding to help build out the platform. Flow has processed close to $1 million in payments volume to date and continues to show strong growth.
